German Game Developer Duplex Systems released an sad news that the development of Face of Mankind: Rebirth will be terminated permenantly. The reason for this is lack of funds. The original edition Face of Mankind encounter many problem since it's released in 2006. Lots of player complain there are too many bugs and the game is extremely hard. In the end, only a few players stayed in game. On July, 2007, the official site also reveive a series of hacker attack, which lead to the final failure of the game.

The developer Dupex System has now becomes a small development team, but they will still try to provide support to the game. If they could find a publisher for this game, they will continue this game and name it Face of Mankind: Rebirth.
